The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers a high quality course of study that is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.

It integrates a strong science base with an excellent design core. Our students develop their skills in communication, both written and oral, through an integrated communications program. 

 

In addition, our department has a very exciting international program, with options for study around the globe in England, Germany, and Russia.

The program also brings in a diverse group of international students to study with us. Included in the variety of activities open to students is the cooperative education program in which a student may participate after his/her freshman year.
