The MSU College of Engineering offers more than 300 scholarships to undergraduate students each year for a total of approximately $280,000 in amounts ranging from $500 to $2,500. There are separate selection processes for obtaining scholarships for incoming freshmen and current engineering students.
Also available is the Gerald and Lois Park Amateur Radio Endowed Scholarship Fund for engineering students active in the MSU Amateur Radio Club (W8SH/W8MSU). The current value of the scholarship is about $4,000 per year.
There are opportunities for funding through the Von Ehr Scholarship and $1000-$1500 scholarship opportunities to those students who are in the 28-32 range for ACT and SAT equivalent with a GPA of 3.8 or better.
Returning students are considered for all engineering scholarships for which they are eligible by completing one scholarship application annually. Applications are available each year in January on this web page and from the Office of Engineering Undergraduate Studies, 1410 Engineering Building, and are due in mid-March. Allocations are made by a college committee at the end of each spring semester, for award the following fall.
