Description
Our particular strength lies in our ability to undertake non-standard vibration testing and to investigate unusual vibration phenomena using a combined experimental and theoretical approach. We also can do traditional vibration research, such as modal analysis and failure diagnostic studies.

- Centrifugal pendulum vibration absorbers.
- Identification of chaotic systems.
- Nonlinear dynamics with friction.
- Squeak and rattle in automotive interiors.
- Nonlinear modal analysis.

- Computing - power pc's, UNIX machines, Pentiums running Linux.
- Hardware - electrodynamic shakers, sensors and instrumentation, data acquisition systems.
- Mathematical software - Matlab, Mathematica, IMSL.
- DDA software - LabVIEW, Laboratory Workbench.
- Modeling software - I-DEAS Master series, Working Model.
- Analysis software - ABAQUS, Ansys, I-DEAS, Dyna-3d.
- Other software - IDL, PV-WAVE, AVS, DADisp.
