- Mechanical Engineering, being the largest department in the college, is also equipped with cutting-edge technologies, all our labs cover a wide range of study including, automotive, biomedical engineering, composite materials, computing and laser applications.

Undergraduate Program
- The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers a high quality course of study that is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, which integrates a strong science base with an excellent design core.
Graduate Research
- Masters [MS] and Doctoral [PhD] degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Mechanics are awarded by the MSU Department of Mechanical Engineering. Students must complete 30 credits of graduate work to complete a Master's degree and the PhD program is custom fit to each student.
