Smruti Panigrahi takes Third Place in ASME (VIB) Student Paper Competition

Smruti Panigrahi, a graduate student of Brian Feeny and Alex Diaz, has been declared a Third Place winner in the 2012 ASME Vibrations Student Paper Competition for his paper  "Bifurcations in Twinkling Oscillators." The prize was awarded at the 24th Conference on Vibration and Noise (VIB), IDETC/CIE 2012 in Chicago, Illinois. Smruti Panigrahi is working toward his Ph.D. on nonlinear dynamics and chaos in the dynamics and vibrtions lab.
