Anoosheh Niavarani Receives Caterpillar Scholarship

Anoosheh Niavarani, a Ph.D student in Mechanical Engineering, has been chosen by the Society of Women Engineers to receive the Caterpillar Scholarship for the 2009-2010 academic year. The Scholarship Selection Committee reviewed over 1,000 applications this year and selected graduate students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievements as well as strong engineering potential.
