| Biography: Guoming (George) Zhu is an associate professor of mechanical engineering. Prior to joining the ME department, he was a technical fellow in advanced powertrain systems for the Visteon Corporation. He also worked for Cummins engine Co. Zhu earned his PhD in 1992 in aerospace engineering at Purdue University. His BS and MS degrees (1982 and 1984 respectively) are from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. His current research interests include adaptive control of electro-pneumatic valve actuators as well as closed loop combustion control of internal combustion (IC) engines. |
