Melissa Soto wins Engineering College Service Award

Melissa Soto, the 2002-2003 president of the MSU Student Chapter of ISPE, has been selected to receive an Engineering College Service Award. This award, which recognizes outstanding service contributions to the College and University, will be made at the MSU Engineering College Academic Awards and Service Recognition Reception, April 1st, 2003.

Many of Melissa's service contributions have been made through her role as President of the MSU Student Chapter of ISPE. Melissa's hard work and excellent management skills have resulted in the Chapter being much more active, and enjoying higher student participation, than last year. Melissa has also served as a research assistant with Professor Melissa Baumann on biomedical engineering research to develop artificial bone.
