Chemical Engineering co-op, Pilot-Plant Engineering Department.

Most responsibilities reside in process control, validation, and commissioning studies of a pharmaceutical development pilot plant. Proficient in Pharmaceutical Documentation with experience completing computer and system validation studies. Familiar with a wide variety of solids, liquids, and sterile process equipment along with the nitrogen, compressed air, and water utilities serving the GMP facility. Regularly managed 3 or more projects concurrently each co-op semester.

Millwrights Union Local 1102, Warren, MI July 95 to July 98

Millwright journeyman, student permit.

Involved in changeovers for Chrysler, Ford, and General Motors. Responsibilities and duties included assisting Millwright journeymen with removal, and installation of conveyor, machinery, and robotic equipment. Regularly worked in excess of 70 hours in a 7-day work week. Valuable hands on; on-site, work experience was attained.

Michigan State University Department of Chemistry, East Lansing, MI June 97 to December 97

Building Manager's assistant.

Responsibilities included communicating with department personnel on a daily basis and assisting them with their needs. Projects vary from building new labs to troubleshooting and repairing plumbing and electrical problems. In the absence of the building manager, I assumed his duties and responsibilities.
