General Member Meeting

We are hosting a team design competition for general members. The challenge involves designing a marble rollercoaster as a team of 5. Prizes (giftcards) will be awarded in several categories! Also free food and drink will be provided.

Interested in joining the e-board? We are looking for new members. Information about upcoming elections will be provided. Be sure to come to this meeting if you are interested in running for a position.

Student Professional Awareness Conference

Join us for the 2010 Student Professional Awareness Conference this Monday February 15th in the Engineering building room 1345. Join us for free Subway and drinks and hear from two professional engineer speakers. This year, there will be two speakers. Marlin Ristenbatt, an IEEE national speaker, will discuss careers in engineering, what's ahead, and what our future holds. Jennifer Basher, a Nestle recruiter, will talk about social media and how to speak to recruiters at career fairs. There will also be prize giveaways for a Zune HD, iPod Touch, and a netbook. Impression 5 - MSU Engineering Day

The Impression 5 Science Center will be hosting an even with MSU to display engineering projects geared toward elementary school kids. This is a great way to get younger kids interested in engineering. IEEE will have a display set up with some demos. Vote on your favorite display and winners will be chosen at the end of the day.
