The first general members meeting of the spring semester will be held with special guests General Electric Aviation. They will be here talking about what their company does, and what they are looking for in potential employees.

All Electrical and Computer Engineering students are encouraged to attend. free pizza and pop will be served for this meeting. Come and join the largest professional organization in the world, and learn about a great company in the process.

During this meeting, we will be electing new members to fill in positions for graduating seniors on the e-board. Positions available: President, Vice President, and Corporate Relations.

Interested in joining the most electrifying e-board in the EB? Some of the incentives include being part of a group of motivated engineers, networking with companies, storage in the IEEE lockers (and refrigerator space), resume builder, and an invitation to the end of the semester E-Board Buffalo Wild Wings extravaganza!

In support of the canned food drive, IEEE will be raffling off two $10 gift cards for Buffalo Wild Wings. How can you enter to win? BRING FOOD FOR THE CANNED FOOD DRIVE! For every 2 non-perishable food items you bring, you will receive 1 ticket toward the gift card raffle. The more food you bring, the higher your chances to win! Food will be donated to the MSU food bank. For everyone who brings cans, gourmet sandwiches and beverages will be provided.

If you can't make the meeting, you can still donate food. Bring your donations to The Center and tell them you are supporting IEEE.

Eaton will be looking to hire interns and full time students with their leadership development programs.

Texas Instruments will be discussing and setting up interviews with the Technical Sales division. Bring your resumes!

IEEE and Engineering Solutions at Dow Chemical present: You, Too, Can Start a Career IN THE CHEMICAL INDUSTRY as an Electrical OR Instrument Engineer.

Tony Skarich (MSU ’05) and Kristen Pace (MSU ’07) will be presenting the technical life, the hectic life, and the business life of being process plant instrumentation and electrical power systems engineers at Dow Chemical. The presentation will focus on the large diversity of opportunities at Dow Chemical for electrical engineers as well as computer engineers, and discuss what an engineer does at Dow, current projects, technical scope, and of course some team dynamics.

You are welcome to bring your resumes and visit before / after the presentation. Pizza and pop will be provided.
