I think seeking improvement is part of human nature – and engineers get to be right in the middle of it all! -Maura McDonald, MSU EGR Alumni
Environmental engineers work to prevent damage and fix problems that already exsist within our environment. They assist in developing new recycling methods and sewer treatment plans. Reducing the amount of pesticides and air pollution are just two specific examples of what some environmental engineers' goals are. They seek not only to keep the environment modern, but also safe for all its habitants.
