Each day students will learn about a major and spend time with engineering faculty members and current graduate and undergraduate students. They will engage in short lectures, demonstrations, hands-on experiments, team-based problem solving, and tours.
In addition, students will spend two hours daily engaged in English language instruction and will practice their English skills while immersed in the academic culture of Michigan State University.

Two-week summer program providing hands-on, in- depth introduction to the field of engineering.
•    Faculty-led lectures, demonstrations, team-based problem solving, and hands-on experiments
•    Tours of cutting-edge research labs
•    2 hours daily instruction in English as a second language
•    Meetings with admissions counselors and Honors College representatives.
•    Fun excursions and activities
•    All scheduled activities, housing, meals, insurance and transportation between Capital City Airport (Lansing) and campus are included.  Participants are housed in the Snyder/ Phillips Residence Hall on the MSU campus. Rooms are primarily double occupancy, and feature community bathrooms and weekly linen
service.The Gallery at Snyder/Phillips offers innovative dining featuring American and international cuisine, including vegetarian, vegan, Kosher, Halal, and gluten-free options.

Tuition: $2,000 per student includes: all classes, tours, group activities and day trips, insurance, housing and meals. Not included are: transportation to and from East Lansing, souvenirs and incidentals
