" Being involved in the American Institute of Chemical Engineering has helped me discover some of the amazing opportunities MSU students have after graduation."
Brian LaFleur (Class of 2013)

Grades 6-8

What is engineering?

Simply put, using math, science and imagination to solve problems, invent and improve things. Engineers figure out new ways to design, create, or improve almost everything around you. It might sound complicated, but you have most likely acted as an engineer before without even know it!

If you like math and science, solving problems, thinking creatively or are curious about the world around you and how things work, you are already on your way to becoming an engineer!
