Here at MSU I've learned what it's like to be out on my own. It's an experience that is truly preparing me for the real world.

Cooperative Education

Introduction

Cooperative Education is an academic program in which college students are employed in positions directly related to their major field of study. Co-op is a three-way partnership between a student, an employer, and a college or university.

At Michigan State University, Co-op is an optional program available to students enrolled in any of the majors in the College of Engineering. Over 200 employers in business, government, and industry of all sizes participate locally, regionally, and nationally with the MSU Engineering Co-op Program.
