Biosensors Lab

 

 

Our research focus is to develop nano-wired biosensors for rapid and on-site detection of microbial pathogens and toxins in food, water, animals, plants, and the environment for the ultimate purpose of enhancing public health and biosecurity.

Civil Infrastructure Laboratory

 

 

The Civil Infrastructure Laboratory is a facility dedicated for research on materials, transportation systems and structures, thus allowing the faculty at MSU’s Department of Civil Engineering to address the mentioned challenge.

Smart Microsystems Lab

 

Established in Fall 2004, the mission of SML is to enable smarter, smaller, integrated systems using advanced modeling, control and design methodologies. Research in SML focuses on modeling and control of smart material sensors and actuators, electroactive polymer-based microrobots, modeling and control of micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS), control of autonomous swarms, and embedded control systems.
