What are you doing today?: 

I am a marketing and business strategist/consultant. I work primarily with small to mid-size companies helping them develop strategic plans, growth strategies, and business plans.

What personal advice would you give to high-school students considering a career in engineering?: 

Explore as many options as possible in the field. There are so many areas that you can pursue - manufacturing, logistics, telecom, electrical/computer systems, and even business.

What was your first job after graduation, and how did it impact your career?: 

Consultant with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) ... it had a huge impact on my career because it showed me how true professionals conduct themselves and how you can be rewarded for hard work and excellent performance.

 

What was your greatest experience while attending the College of Engineering here at MSU?: 

Besides getting my degree, it was working with students from different backgrounds and cultures.

How does your profession impact people's lives?: 

It helps them identify what they want their company to be, what the vision is for the future and how to get there. It is more of the "thinking" part of the business.

How were you inspired to become an engineer?:
