Red.
Describe yourself in three words.
Ambitious. Creative. Hungry.
Favorite activity outside of formula? Why?
Mountain biking because I’ve always loved riding my bike and exploring the outdoors. It’s also a great way to get some exercise and burn off some steam. I also enjoy drumming, traveling, go karting, and being a couch potato.
Why the Michigan State Formula Racing Team?
I first met Kevin Viguilla at an intern picnic during the summer of 2013, and when he described the MSU formula racing team and what he did, his enthusiasm was so infectious that I decided to give it a try. It ended up being a perfect fit for me, as I’ve always been a hands-on type of person who’s curious to figure out how things work. The notion of designing, manufacturing, testing and ultimately racing a racecar from scratch is still a mind-blowingly cool thing to me.
Past Internships (Company, Year, Role)
Robert Bosch LLC, Summer 2014, Chassis Controls Applications Intern
Continental Automotive Systems, Summer 2013, Control Strategies Intern
What do you want to do after college?
I want to obtain a job that pushes the boundaries of engineering and creativity in a way that will impact humanity for many years to come. I also want to travel the world and get a tempur pedic bed so I can take plenty of naps in between my busy times.
