Grandparents University- Commuter

The MSU Grandparents University is a program for grandparents and grandchildren (ages 8-12) to come together for a 3-day educational experience while spending time together on campus. Participants enjoy the college experience of living in the residence halls, attending classes across campus and sampling the many highlights of MSU. The program gives alumni a chance to relive their college days while exploring new areas of campus and creating lifelong memories with their grandchildren. The Spartaneering Outreach team offers a LEGO Robotics kit for participants to ignite kids' interest in engineering. Participants will use the NXT Mindstorm Robotic Invention System kits taught by middle and high school teachers and engineering students.
