Facilities & Providers

Below is a listing of our available facilities and providers found within the College of Engineering.

Engineering Machine Shop and IPL
The Engineering Machine Shop and Industrial Project Lab (IPL) are full services shops that provide the students with the needed tools and equipment to design and manufacture projects.

Research Machine Shop
Research Machine Shop is a full service shop that strives to meet the research design, machining, fabricating, and maintenance needs of the College of Engineering at Michigan State University. The machine shop is located in room B250 of the Engineering Building.

Division of Engineering Computing Services
DECS, the Division of Engineering Computing Services, is working round-the-clock to provide you with the fastest and most powerful computing resources available, equipping eight computer laboratories with high-end UNIX and PC-based workstations.

Engineering Library
The Engineering Library, with its extended hours to accommodate the late-night and weekend needs of both students and faculty, is continuously expanding the resources that it carries, both in printed copy and over the Internet.

Diversity Programs Office
The Guided Learning Center, offered through the Diversity Programs Office, provides supplemental instruction at no cost to any interested student who requests assistance.
