The Engineering Study Abroad Office will help you Develop academic and intellectual skills in problem solving. Problem solving is what engineers do. Studying in another country presents many opportunities to flex the problem solving muscles. Learning and speaking the language of a culture helps engineers understand the ways of thinking of the culture and it helps engineers mix well in the country they work in. Gain geographical and historical knowledge of the people and cultures of different countries.

Residential Experience / Spartan Engineering
The Residential Experience is a residential program in which students with similar academic interests and career goals share selected floors in Bailey Hall of the Brody Complex. The Residential Experience is designed to provide a stronger sense of community and academic support within the greater Univeristy. Fostered by shared classes and a one credit seminar, this community inspires and promotes collaborative learning opportunities among the participants.
