Technical GPA
In order to be admitted to a major in the College of Engineering, you must have a combined cumulative and technical grade-point average as determined for your desired major at the end of the term in which you become a junior (56 credits), or desire to change your major if you have already reached junior status.
Your technical grade-point average includes most courses taken in the Colleges of Engineering, Natural Science, or Veterinary Medicine, or in the Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering. Click here to get a full list of the courses which are included in the Technical GPA (pdf pdf format) .

If you have any questions, please contact an engineering advisor.
Worksheet for Calculating Your Technical GPA
