The LEAD Peer Mentorship Program is designed to match upper class students with first year or transfer engineering students, with a goal of assisting with acclimation to the university environment. Participating student groups include NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers), SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, NOBCChE (National Organization of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers), AISES (American Indian Science & Engineering Society), and AABE (American Association of Blacks in Energy).
