Professor Mason named General Chair of the 2011 IEEE Biomedical Circuits and System Conference
Professor Andrew Mason will serve as a General Chair of the 2011 IEEE Biomedical Circuits and System Conference (BioCAS). BioCAS provides an interdisciplinary venue for scientists, engineers, medical researchers, and practitioners to share in the explosion of research activities in the areas of life sciences, physical sciences and engineering with application to medical problems. This multidisciplinary conference attracts a mixture of academic and industry experts through a combination of insightful tutorials, inspiring keynote addresses, and stimulating technical sessions. Select papers from BioCAS 2011 will appear in a special issue of the IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and Systems. The conference will be held in November 10-12 2011 in San Diego with a theme of “Engineering Tomorrow’s Healthcare”.
