ECE Graduate student Mahmoud Taghizade and his advisor Subir Biswas received the best paper award for their paper “Minimizing Content Provisioning Cost in Heterogeneous Social Wireless Networks”. This work, partially funded by National Science Foundation and National Aeronautics and Space Administration, was presented in the IEEE/ACM International Conference on Communication Systems and Networks (COMSNETS 2011) in Bangalore, India. The acceptance rate for COMSNETS 2011 was below 20%.
