Biswas wins NASA Grant

Subir Biswas and his collaborators from MSU Psychology Department have been awarded a NASA grant on “Studying Team Cohesion using Wearable Wireless Sensors in a Social Networking Context.”  The grant will support engineering research on human interaction-aware wireless network protocols. The key research activity will be to explore how spatio-temporal social interaction localities can be leveraged for optimizing network protocol performance.  On the psychology front, the grant will support research on quantitative understanding of human interactions and its impacts on social dynamics at different time and spatial scales.  More about Dr. Biswas’ research can be found at http://neews.egr.msu.edu.
