Hayder Radha Receives Grant from Kodak Research Labs (KRL)
Hayder Radha received a grant from Kodak Research Labs (KRL) for conducting research in the area of Compressed Sensing and its application to color imaging systems.
Compressed Sensing, which is an emerging area in signal processing, represents a paradigm shift for sampling signals that are inherently compressible such as images. The focus of this effort will be on conducting collaborative research with Kodak scientists for the utility of theoretical and algorithmic aspects of Compressed Sensing to develop new solutions for longstanding imaging problems and for emerging digital color imaging systems. Longterm plans for this collaborative research may include development of Compressed Sensing based solutions for future Kodak color imaging platforms.
