Professor Pierre elected to the National Academy of Engineering
Professor Pierre has been elected to the National Academy of Engineering for his service as assistant secretary of the army, and his contributions to engineering education and leadership in creating the national minority engineering effort. Dr. Pierre has been at the forefront in initiating and launching innovative programs for improving access to higher education for students from underrepresented groups for many years. He is College's first National Academy of Engineering Member.
