Please complete the Proposal Processing Form and email to proposals@egr.msu.edu. Doing this as soon as possible (even before the technical portion is completed!), ensures that there is time to prepare required forms, finalize the budget, and get the necessary signatures before submission.

Basic Proposal Processing Steps for Faculty

  • Complete a DER Proposal Processing Form (Fillable Word Document) and submit to proposals@egr.msu.edu
  • Provide budget details to DER for draft budget and finalization
  • Provide agency RFP/Solicitation/Program Announcement information or URL
  • Once budget is finalized DER can often complete most necessary forms for routing to PI, Chair, Dean and Contract & Grants for signature.
NOTE: PI must have at least a draft of his/her proposal and a final copy of the budget attached to forms when routing.
  • DER will assist with copying and mailing of proposal or electronic submission
