A sophisticated combined research and educational software environment for unified deterministic and stochastic groundwater modeling. Based on a set of new efficient and robust computational algorithms, the software allows simulating complex flow and transport in aquifers subject to both systematic and "randomly" varying stresses and geological and chemical heterogeneity. Interactive Groundwater was developed at Portland State University. The program was modified and extended at Michigan State University and can be found in all of the DECS public PC labs.
GPS-X is a wastewater treatment plant simulator program developed and published by Hydromantis Inc. GPS-X is a modular, multi-purpose computer program for the modeling and simulation of municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants. Whether you are designing a new facility, or simulating an existing plant, GPS-X will help you improve your design and operating efficiency. GPS-X Version 6.0 is the State-of-the-Art in wastewater process simulation. Featuring the industry's easiest-to-use interface and most comprehensive suite of wastewater models, GPS-X provides engineers with a proven tool for process analysis.
HEEDS (Hierarchical Evolutionary Engineering Design System) is an optimization software package that allows designers to automatically and concurrently explore hundreds of design parameters and their relationships in product and process design scenarios, and intelligently seeks optimal values for parameters that affect performance and cost. HEEDS can be used to improve any engineering system (structural, thermal, fluid, electrical, etc.), including multi-disciplinary problems. In structural design applications, for example, HEEDS can evolve designs that simultaneously satisfy objectives and targets for stiffness, durability, crash-worthiness, noise and vibration, mass, cost, manufacturability, and reliability.
GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. It works on many operating systems, in many languages.
Developed by Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Water Supply and Water Resources Division, EPANET is software that models water distribution piping systems. It is a Windows program that performs extended-period simulation of the hydraulic and water quality behavior within pressurized pipe networks.
Architect is a schematic-based system-level modeling environment used to quickly explore design alternatives and optimize performance at high accuracy. Designer is a physical design tool that contains a 2D layout editor, materials property editor and database, a process editor, as well as an automatic 3D model generator.
Who Uses CoventorWare?
Dean M Aslam
What is CoventorWare?
CoventorWare software is used in the design of micro electromechanical systems (MEMS). Coventor changed its company name from Microcosm in early 2001 and changed its Memcad product name to CoventorWare.
Where is CoventorWare?
CoventorWare version 2006 is available on all DECS machines.
COMSOL Multiphysics is a modeling package for the simulation of any physical process you can describe with partial differential equations (PDEs). It features state-of-the-art solvers that address complex problems quickly and accurately, while its intuitive structure is designed to provide ease of use and flexibility.
Cadence provides a number of packages for integrated circuit design and analysis and PCB design.
Basic Stamp is a microcontroller used to control electronic devices. It sends output signals to these devices and "listens" to the input information they provide.
AutoCAD is a CAD software application to create 2D and 3D drafts.
