Who Uses Visual J# .NET?
Any user that has an EGR NetID and has access to the Engineering public labs can use this software.
What is Visual J# .NET?
Microsoft Visual J# enables developers to use Java-language syntax to build applications and services in the .NET Framework. Visual J# integrates the Java-language syntax into the Visual Studio® integrated development environment (IDE).
Where is Visual J# .NET?
Visual Basic is available in all Engineering public labs.
Getting Started
- Go to: Start-->All Programs-->MS Visual Studio .NET-->MS Visual Studio .NET and select it. The window will pop up.
- Go to File, New, Project. Then choose Visual J# projects. This will take you to the next window.
- Microsoft has additional product information on their website.
- Visual J# also has a built-in help library in case you need help on coding. To begin click on "Help" under menu bar and select "Index", a window will pop up. From here you can search for a particular item that you need.
