DECS offers support for personal and home equipment including desktops, laptops and printers. Repairing personal equipment is $41 per hour, with a minimum one hour charge. Quotes are provided for any additional hardware that is needed or requested. The cost for additional parts is not included in the hourly rate above.
DECS will backup every system before any repair work is started. Be advised that some failures may prevent DECS from being able to backup a system. You will be notified if this is the case prior to any repair work beginning.
Some of the software installed on engineering systems can be installed on a personal machine either by a DECS employee, or by checking out the media for the product. Due to licensing restrictions, not all of the software provided by DECS is available for installation on personal machines. Click here for a list of available software.
