Database Server Replication

DECS is undertaking a project to provide replicated database servers. This means data stored in any of the many database at DECS, such as FMP or GIMS, will be safe from server failure and replicated realtime, so data will not be lost--even if less than a second old! This will complement the existing nightly full backups of data that are also stored for safekeeping.
