DECS upgraded numerous software packages in the engineering computer labs. Ansys, Matlab, Adobe Flash Player, Adobe Reader, OpenOffice, Mozilla Firefox, and Mozilla Thunderbird were among the software packages upgraded. It is important to provide students with the latest versions of software packages because each new version has additional features. Often times these software packages are used for day-to-day activities, in-class activities, special projects, and class assignments.
