The College of Engineering now has a server dedicated to provide wireless cellular access and management of E-mail, Calendar, Contacts and Tasks (PIM). This server is compatible with virtually any PDA type cellular phone. The supported list includes: Blackberry, iPhone, Palm OS, and Windows Mobile. The server offers full end-to-end security, with Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) /Triple Data Encryption Standard (DES) encryption and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) connectivity. People interested in utilizing this new service will need to be migrated to the new calendar server and should contact the support(support@egr.msu.edu) office to setup an appointment for that and the configuration of their phone.
