Color printers reside in both 1325 and 1320.  These printers are accessible from any computer in the engineering computer labs, as well as those in Thirteen Twenty and in the Support Office. The color printer in 1325 is an HP Color Laserjet 9500dn. 1320's color printer is a HP Color LaserJet CP6015.  Each page printed from the color printer charges five black and white pages of print quota.

Black and White Printing

Every engineering computer lab, as well as DECS Support Office, has a black and white printer. Access to all printers is restricted to faculty, staff and students who have a valid EGR NetID. When printing from the computing labs or Support Office, a single page count is deducted from print quota. These printers have a duplex option (double sided printing) that deducts 1.5 pages per each double sided printout. Each printer can be printed to from any engineering computer lab. Engineering users are assigned 600 pages of print quota per semester. Unused print quota is not carried forward from one semester to the next, unless an increase for print quota had been purchased.

  • Print speed: Up to 50 ppm
  • Media sizes: Letter, legal, tabloid, executive, JPostD, envelopes (No. 10, C5, DL, Monarch, B5)
  • Print quality: 600 x 600 dpi [with HP FastRes 1200 and Resolution Enhancement technology (REt)]
