Forward E-mail from MSU to EGR
Forwarding E-mail from mail.msu.edu
It is strongly recommended that users forward e-mail sent to their MSU e-mail accounts to their EGR account. EGR e-mail offers features such as reduced Spam, larger space to save e-mails and backups of each mailbox.
Below are instructions for setting your account on mail.msu.edu to forward to another e-mail account. If you have not activated your mail.msu.edu account, you will need to do so prior to setting up forwarding. Please see the following webpage for activation of your mail.msu.edu account:

After logging in to mail.msu.edu:
- Click on 'Preferences'.
- Scroll down to 'Forwarding Address' and enter the e-mail address to which you wish your MSU account to be forwarded.
- Click 'Update preferences'.
All incoming e-mails will than be forwarded directly to the address provided. These messages will not appear in the inbox on mail.msu.edu.
