Getting Started
Before you start the program, add the three lines below to your .cshrc file, by using a text editor (emacs or vi)
if (-e $SOFT/mti) then
source $SOFT/mti
endif
When done, save it and then at an xterm command line type:
source .cshrc
To run to program, at the exterm command line type:
coventorware
Since this software is written in Java, it might take a few minutes for it to initalized and open. The following window will displayed when it finish initalizing:
You can leave all the setting as it is or you can change the Design_Files to some other names, then click on OK button for it to install the user settings.
After the user settings is done, it will displayed the Open window, from this window, click on the New Project button to start a new project.
It will then ask for the project's name, you will need to enter a name and click OK. It then will create a new project for you.
Your project will then appear in the Open dialog, you need to click the Open button to open this new project.
It will then take you to the main screen where you can start to develop your design.
