Connecting to EGR Wi-Fi with Windows 7

Begin by ensuring your wireless card is enabled, then click on the wireless network icon in the lower right hand corner of the screen.  If EGR Wi-Fi networks are not available, click the refresh button in the upper right-hand corner, as shown on the screen below.  If EGR Wi-Fi still does not appear, please contact the DECS Support Office.

 

Select the desired EGR Wi-Fi network.  If you would like your machine to connect to this wireless network whenever it is in range, check the Connect Automatically box, and then click the Connect button.


 

If you select the EGR Wi-Fi WPA2 network you will be prompted for the security key: engineering


 

Once connected you should see an image similar to one of the screens below:


 

If this is the first time you have connected to the EGR Wi-Fi you will have to follow these instructions for Network Bouncer to register for full Internet access.
