First Year Academic Advising

The W8A Wilson Office provides academic advising for all first year engineering students as well as Engineering No Preference sophomores during the academic school year.  Academic advising is available on a walk-in basis four days a week and covers course schedules, course questions and concerns related to student success.

During the academic year, walk-in advising is available on the following days (no appointment needed):

Mondays and Wednesdays: 1pm-4pm

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 10am-12pm and 1pm-4pm

Project Assembly Lab

The Wilson W9 Project Assembly Lab provides work space for all EGR 100 sections and hosts open hours for student teams working on EGR 100 projects.  The lab is equipped with a variety of power tools, supplies and other items required for construction of course projects.

Computer Labs

CoRe Computer LabThe Wilson C4 and G79 computer labs are technology enhanced labs used for both EGR 100 and EGR 102.  The lab computers are used during interactive EGR 100 and EGR 102 sections. Both labs also host open lab hours for EGR 100 and EGR 102 project work.  The labs are supported by the Division of Engineering Computing Services (DECS).



Project Testing Space

The Wonders G24 Project Testing Lab provides another South Neighborhood location for teams to work on EGR 100 projects. The space is equipped with basic tools and other equipment required for the testing of course projects.

Tutoring Space

The Wonders G24 Tutoring and Conference Space houses the CoRe Tutoring Program and our student success seminars.
