RESEARCH INTERESTS :

Dr. Jayaraman's research interests are in polymer rheology, polymer processing and composite material processing. He is the leader of the Liquid Molding Research Thrust (including several projects) in the NSF State/Industry/University Research Center for Low-Cost, High-Speed Processing of Polymer Composites (NSF S/I UCRC) at Michigan State University. He is conducting a TRP project to develop educational materials for courses and industry workshops on liquid molding,, compression molding and injection molding. He has participated in a NIST/ATP program on thermoplastic engineering design procedures for injection molding conducted by GE and GM.
