Mike Rich has been the CMSC since its launch in 1986. Prior to coming to MSU, he was with the University of Dayton working with Air Force research personnel on advanced composites.  He has a broad experience base, with particular expertise in composite interfaces, adhesion testing, thermal analysis, surface spectroscopy, and composite processing.  Mr. Rich has published over 100 technical papers and is active in many professional organizations.  As Laboratory Manager he oversees the technical activities of the CMSC.  Please contact Mike if you have questions regarding technical capabilities of the lab.
