The Brabender 75cc Banbury Mixer is a high shear internal mixer with counter-rotating screws and pneumatic feed ram.  Elastomeric and thermoplastic polymers are blended with additives and filler particles or fibers to create billets of compounded composites.  The bowl may be heated up to 400C.  The typical batch size is between 50 and 75 grams.
