The original idea for a project to address these issues was conceived by a team of six electrical engineering undergraduate students at the Huazhong University of Science & Technology in Wuhan, China. Two teams responded to their call for partners – a group of two biomedical engineering graduate students at the University of Bologna in Italy, and our team of five ECE 480 students. Between our three teams, we have a wide range of technical expertise.

	Kevin Scheel Management Senior in Computer Engineering and German. Specialization in design and implementation of digital circuits. Experience with VLSI design as well as VHDL programming using Cadence design suite tools. Knowledge of C++ programming language and experience programming on linux, solaris and windows platforms. My most recent internship was working for a national health insurance provider in Michigan and working in their storage management group help to maintain data security. I also have some experience with web design and using css, php, and xhtml.
	Joseph Hines Website Senior in Electrical Engineering. My interests are in analog circuit design and microcontrollers. I have experience in designing and building audio components, as well as with programming in various languages including C and C++.
	Kurtis Hessler Document Preparation Senior in Electrical Engineering. I have a wide range of knowledge in many different Electrical fields. I have 2 years at a vocational school doing an electronics class. Some objectives in the technical course were, the design and creation of boards for projects (trace laying, etching), wiring the boards, and debugging any problems. I worked for numerous companies as 1) autocad detailer and design engineer 2) Machine wiring, commercial and residential wiring. I have experience with PLC, Servo motors and drives, System wiring, etc. No main focus in the Engineering program but I am excellent at soldering, Board assembly, Debugging, etc.
	Janelle Shane Presentation Preparation Senior in Electrical Engineering. I have a few years' research experience in femtosecond pulsed lasers and in genetic algorithms. One of my recent research projects involved deep-tissue imaging using near-infrared light. My other areas of concentration are signal processing and electromagnetics. I also enjoy technical writing and proofreading, as well as designing graphics, posters, and presentations.
	T. Wa-Jiw Casey Lab Coordination Senior in Computer Engineering. Specialized in assembly, c++, php and SQL programming. I am skilled in Linux and BSD(primarily Red Hat, freeBSD and Ubuntu using both KDE and Gnome X shells). I also am very experienced in web database, css web design and web scripting.

	Li Ji Senior in Biomedical Engineering. Has experience in ARM series' embedded operating system, designing bio-medical equipment such as electrocardiograph (ECG), pulse device and is also studying and designing circuits used in measuring the concentration of blood oxygen.
	Lv Sheng Senior in Biomedical Engineering. Responsible for design and development of the circuits for the medical equipment.
	Zhang Zhen Senior in Biomedical Engineering. Responsible for design and development of the circuits for the medical equipment.
	Liu Jiang Senior in Electronics. Specialized in development of embedded operating systems based on ARM board.
	Shi Yuanjing Graduate in Computer Science. Specialized in design of PCB boards.
	Leng Jing Junior in Bioinformatics. Mainly responsible for contact with American and Italian students.
