Transportation Computing Laboratory
The transportation laboratory is primarily a PC-based computer lab,
although a modest library and various data collection devices are also
maintained. The laboratory primarily serves undergraduate and graduate
students taking classes in transportation and pavements with a reserved
section for graduate students. The library materials include various
federal and state reports, common textbooks, and a fairly comprehensive
set of Transportation Research Board publications. There is a total of
34 computers. All machines are networked and provide students with
access to server space. Limited work space is also available for
students and group projects.
Transportation-related software
which is available includes: HCS 2000, PASSER 4, TSIS 5, trip
generation, SYSCHRO 5 and SIM TRAFFIC, and TRANSYT 7F ver 9.0 among other
special purpose software.
