Civil and Environmental Engineering students have the opportunity to take a
wide variety of degree required courses in Russia during the Summer Semester.
On campus instruction will begin on May 5th. Students will depart for Russia on
May 17th or 18th, returning to campus on June 22nd or 23rd.
Although the offerred courses can change each summer, expected courses are IAH
221C, ME 361, STT 351, CE 305, CE 406, CE 491, and CE 844. If there is
sufficient interest some of the following courses may be offered: RUS 211, RUS
290/490, RUS 493, and CE 405. All courses are taught in English by U.S. and
Russian faculty members. All students must be in good academic standing, with a
grade point average of at least a 2.00 at the time of application. Meeting this
minimum grade point average requirement does not, however, guarantee admission.
Additional eligibility criteria may apply, and students must be judged
academically prepared by appropriate program faculty members.
