Function/Duties:
Develop and administer database and data management systems for the
National Center for Pavement Preservation (NCPP). Development of custom
software, web sites, and user interfaces to facilitate the outreach
and technology dissemination missions of the NCPP. Performs literature
and technology reviews and prepares technical guidebooks and reports
related to pavement preservation best practices. Engages in the preparation
of proposals and in client relations, training, and outreach activities.
Provides general information technology services to the NCPP.

Daniel L. Lee Senior Specialist

- Ph.D., Higher Education Administration / Driver and Traffic Safety, Michigan State University
Function/Duties:
Dr. Lee's research is primarily focused toward areas needed to develop, update and teach the Michigan State University
series of accident investigation/reconstruction training programs. Currently, there are 18 different Accident Investigation
training programs that cover very basic accident investigation techniques to advanced levels of using computer analysis to
determine speed, principle direction of thrust, Delta V, damaged vehicle profiles etc. These courses are offered throughout
the state of Michigan to police officers, traffic engineers, lawyers, reconstructionist, insurance representatives and other
corporate entities.
