  • Secondary sulfate formation on mineral dust surfaces.
  • Source apportionment analyses on particulate matter and volatile organic compound data using multivariate and univariate receptor modeling techniques.
  • Comparison of VOC emission inventory with source apportionment results for Houston, TX.
  • Secondary particle formation during a wood smoke episode in Texas.

Interests:

My research interests include the area of multivariate statistical methods for data analysis, characterization of source/receptor relationships for ambient air pollutants, air quality modeling, measurement of atmospheric pollutants, and emission inventory assessment. My area of concern is to understand the origin of the air pollutants and their influence on human health, and how effective control plans can be improved to reduce the adverse effects of air pollution.
