Interests:
Dr. Dion’s research interests are in the general area of intelligent
transportation systems with focus on advanced traffic signal control
systems, integrated control of transit and traffic operations, traveler
information systems, and information technology applications to transportation.
Dr. Dion also has research interests in driver behavior modeling, traffic
simulation modeling, and the modeling of vehicle fuel consumption and
pollutant emissions.
