There are other activities that our faculty and staff are involved in that go beyond teaching and research. Technology Transfer is coordinated at the college level.

The Pavement Research Center of Excellence, in addition to being the home of a substantial research effort, also sponsors a range of short courses. Several of these are under the auspices of the Highway Traffic Safety Programs.

The Great Lakes and Mid-Atlantic Hazardous Substance Research Center also does technology transfer and has a specific program targeted for work with communities—i.e., the Technical Outreach Service for Communities
